Hello everyone !
My name is Floyd, and I am a somewhat misunderstood Cocker Spaniel.
You may have read some of the rantings of my rather stressed out dad over at www.Floydsdad.info and if you haven’t, you should.
He is a middle aged father of two teenage girls that drive him mad with their love of all things ‘celebrity’, and their far superior knowledge about all things technical.
The only place he can find solace and refuge is in the kitchen. This is where he longs to be, (he was a bit of a chef before he started doing what he does now). To be fair, he is the only one in the house who can cook anything remotely edible, and so that’s where he spends most of his time!
If he’s not at work, (which he often is), and he’s not in the kitchen, then he’ll be watching Food shows on TV. He loves Rick Stein, (in a purely bloke respecting bloke sense), and is always banging on about the two trips to The Seafood School at Padstow being the best days of his life. (The kids love that!). By now, you’ve probably guessed why he called me Floyd. It is of course after the man he calls ‘El Maestro’, the late great Keith Floyd. He is as equally untidy in the kitchen, and he also drinks like a fish!
This is his humble effort to share with you some of his favourite dishes, mostly simple, easy to follow stuff which you’ll hopefully enjoy. If you have any ideas on what he should cook, or if you’d like to submit a recipe of your own, he would absolutely love to hear from you. Just leave a message and he will get back to you.
